BBC News: A decade of road deaths

Today the BBC is having a day of news coverage looking at road collisions over the past decade since the last road safety targets were introduced.

Using offical data released by the Department for Transport,the BBC has created an interactive map which plots the location of every fatal road crash in Great Britain between 1999 and 2008.
