The French Bureau of Investigations and Analysis has published its report into the crash of the Airbus A330 flying from Rio de Janeiro to Paris on 1 June 2009.
The report identifies that the crash was caused by a combination of faulty sensors and mistakes by inadequately trained pilots. It also raises wider concerns about the level of training provided for pilots flying hi-tech planes faced with a high altitude crisis.
