Calls for Road Safety Election Pledge

Calls for Road Safety Election Pledge

A coalition of leading road safety organisations, including PACTS, has written to all Westminster parties urging them to include road safety as an election pledge and to commit any future government to reinvigorate efforts to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on the UK’s roads. The organisations emphasise that, despite progress, road traffic remains the biggest source of death and injury for young people and the biggest danger that most people face in their daily lives.

The manifesto proposal is available here.
