Liz Brooker MBE has been involved in road safety within Lewisham for more than three decades.
She is responsible for delivery of the council’s road safety education programmes, sustainable transport projects more recently involved in the implementation of the School Street programme.
Liz is Road Safety GB’s London Region press and communications officer. She has held various roles in the road safety field including Road Safety GB Chair, Chair of Eurocities Road Safety working group and sits on the Executive committee for the London Road Safety Council.
In June 2016, Liz saw her services to road safety rewarded with a MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
