This conference looked at the arguments for a third round of road casualty targets beyond 2010. It looked at issues ranging from the role of road traffic law enforcement in casualty reduction, realising the contribution of technology and Great Britain in the European context. Workshops in the afternoon discussed motorcycling, young and novice drivers and road safety and public health.
The conference was opened by Peter Bottomley MP and the Ministrial address by given by Jim Fitzpatrick MP, Minster for Road Safety.
