The Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS) is seeking a new Executive Director to lead and manage the organisation in 2023. We are looking for an outstanding candidate to build on the great success PACTS has achieved over the last 40 years by leading on the delivery of our renewed strategy and vision.
PACTS is a leading multimodal transport safety think tank with strong connections to the UK Parliament and its Agencies. It is nationally and internationally recognised for providing evidence-based leadership in the field of transport safety to Government, parliamentarians and its membership through thorough research in partnership with a broad range of key stakeholders.
As a registered charity and company, PACTS brings together transport safety specialists from both the public and private sectors, independent of Government and the civil Service. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the PACTS Membership and key stakeholders, through its well-established working parties, to help ensure primary research projects and briefings are provided in a timely way in order to influence national and international transport safety policy making.
Salary is up to £60,000 per annum (plus employer pension contribution) depending on experience. PACTS operates a small office located in Westminster and hybrid working arrangements for its staff.
