PACTS has responded to the micromobility questions in the Government’s Future of Transport Regulatory Review Call for Evidence.

PACTS Executive Director, David Davies, said, “This is a well-presented and valuable consultation exercise. We have responded on safety aspects of micromobility where we have significant concerns, particularly for the safety of pedestrians and the impacts on active travel. It is disappointing that the Government decided to go ahead with e-scooter trials, apparently to meet the “Super Saturday” deadline, while this call for evidence was still running.”
