David Davies, Executive Director of the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety said, ‘PACTS welcomes the report that has been published today. We are pleased to see the Transport Committee emphasising the importance of road safety. Both careful policing and further development of technology will be crucial in lowering the number of casualties on our roads and we encourage the Government to adopt the recommendations made within the report.’
