Jeanne Breen has worked in road safety for nearly 44 years. She advises governments and international organisations on good practice road safety management, Safe System safety strategy and project design. She has conducted many capacity reviews in low, middle and high-income countries, most recently in the UK and Ireland, co-authored good practice guidance on road safety management for the World Bank and World Road Association (PIARC) and has conducted independent studies and reviews for the European Commission and international organisations. Prior to working as an independent specialist and with a background in road crash injury research, she helped formally establish and was the first Executive Director of the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS) and the Brussels-based European Transport Safety Council (ETSC). She is a member of PACTS Board of Trustees.
