More than 40 experts and representatives of road safety organisations and victims groups from across Europe, including PACTS, together with 11 members of the European Parliament have written to President Jean-Claude Juncker urging him to reverse a decision to drop the announcement of a new EU target to cut serious road injuries.
The Letter makes the case for the European Commission to act in support of the Serious Injury target and to encourage its seeks assurance that the serious injury target will be proposed in the coming weeks, as was originally intended.
The letter, written by the ETSC, is available here and contains a full list of signatories.
