Neil Greig joined IAM RoadSmart in 2007 and now runs the Policy and Research Division, co-ordinating their research programme and working with the media and opinion formers across the UK. He also represents IAM RoadSmart in Scotland and in Brussels on working parties of the FIA Mobility Division.
Previously he worked at the AA as Head of Policy in Scotland and for a time as Head of Roads and Environment in the Midlands. For a short time he was also Technical Manager Road Safety at RoSPA HQ in the early nineties.
He represents IAM RoadSmart on many committees including; PACTS, Prince Michael of Kent International Road Safety Awards, Highways England Road User Forum, The National Motorcyclists Council, Transport Scotland Road Safety Operational Group, Road Safety Scotland Publicity Advisory Group, Transport Focus and ORR Road user Panels and the Dft Road Safety Strategy Group.
He has an Honours degree in Geography from Aberdeen University and an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
