On 13th March, PACTS hosted its Council of Members Meeting, bringing together transport safety professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss the latest developments in road, rail, and air safety.
Key Highlights from the meeting:

- PACTS President, Barry Sheerman, welcomed members to the meeting. Andy MacNae MP was introduced as the incoming PACTS President, and future Chair of Council of Members meetings.
- Guest speakers Ruth Purdie (UKROEd) and Matt Staton (Agilysis) presented the readiness of UKROEd, The Road Safety Trust and Road Safety Partnerships for the new UK Road Safety Strategy.
- PACTS Working Party Chairs and vice-Chairs reported back on their work covering vehicle design, road environment, rail, air, and road user behaviour.
- We were also pleased to welcome RED Driver Training, Valerann, Centrica, and Peter Barnett (Cyclox) as new members of PACTS. Their expertise and commitment to transport safety will be invaluable in shaping future discussions.
- The Executive Director, Jamie Hassall, shared PACTS latest news.
