PACTS was pleased to host a successful Council of Members meeting at the House of Lords on 14th November 2024. With over 50 members in attendance, both online and in-person, it was a great opportunity to connect with PACTS members.
With the theme of ‘The UK’s influence on global road safety‘, we were fortunate to hear from three speakers:
- David Ward, Executive President of the Towards Zero Foundation (TZF) spoke about the UK’s ongoing role in promoting road safety globally.
- Elizabeth Jones, Senior Transport Advisor (Research) – Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and Eleanor Howat, International Research Policy Manager – Department of Health and Social Care gave a presentation on Road Safety in developing economies.
