PACTS is delighted that Deputy Executive Director Margaret Winchcomb has been recognised for her work in Zag Daily’s The Zag List: 50 mobility changemakers. For three years she has led PACTS projects and campaigns to improve the safety for e-scooters, publishing internationally recognised research and promoting recommendations to policy makers.
Margaret says: “It’s a privilege to be acknowledged alongside 49 other people who have made significant differences to the way people, and goods, get around. Micromobility choices are only going to increase in number. It’s important that, alongside the sustainability and public health benefits each can bring, the risks and hazards are also understood and managed. Travelling can be fun and also safe.”
