PACTS was delighted to host representatives from Nigeria recently.
Arranged by PACTS Trustee Jennie Martin MBE FCILT the delegation included representatives from the Federal Ministry of Transportation, the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology, and GENYZ Transport Solutions.
The meeting provided an opportunity to share knowledge about road safety in the UK and Nigeria and make links for future collaboration.
Richard Owen gave a well-received presentation about Agilysis’ recent project harnessing satellite imagery to understand road network safety. That work was funded by the World Bank’s Global Road Safety Facility in support of the African Road Safety Observatory (ARSO).
