PACTS 40th Anniversary Parliamentary Reception
On 14th July PACTS celebrated 40 years of campaigning for safe transport for all. More than 150 friends old and new enjoyed a parliamentary reception on the House of Lords terrace. There were speeches from distinguished parliamentarians, including the Father of the House Sir Peter Bottomley, with guests from Thailand, Australia and Belgium. It was a pleasure to celebrate achievements and to hear about the challenges to come. It was generously supported by Aviva.
PACTS Vision Statement
On the same day, at the PACTS Council of Members, we launched “Achieving Our Vision” – our high-level strategy to deliver a “A transport system free from death and life-changing injury, in which all users feel safe”. This outlines our strategic priorities and where we hope to expand our activity and influence, in partnership with those who share our vision.
