Paul Fay

Paul Fay is a member of PACTS’ Vehicle Design Working Party who has just retired after spending over 30 years working in vehicle safety at Ford Motor Company. In addition to being an expert on vehicle engineering, he is also very experienced in accident research and chaired the UK’s CCIS project over a number of years. He has been involved with Euro NCAP since its inception and led the industry interaction with the organisation. He took part in a number of the EEVC working groups, particularly for frontal impact where he made significant contribution to the development of protocols for sensible and effective seat belt reminder systems.
