The last few weeks have seen two significant debates on road safety in Parliament.
On the 23rd of May 2019, Transport Safety APPG member Susan Elan Jones MP sponsored a debate on excessive speeding and driving bans, available to read here.
The 6th of June saw a Westminster Hall Debate on bus drivers working hours, sponsored by Matt Western MP, and featuring speeches from Transport Safety APPG chair Jim Fitzpatrick MP, Shadow Transport Minister Matt Rodda MP and the Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Transport, Andrew Jones MP.
