These include safer rural roads, guidance to local authorities on achieving the maximum reduction in road accidents per pound spent, learning from the very best safety regimes around the world, reviewing penalties for mobile phone use by drivers and continuing the roll out of drug-drive enforcement. He was speaking at the Brake/Direct Line Parliamentary reception, hosted by Barry Sheerman MP.
