The report, Stepping Out, Pedestrian Casualties: an analysis of the people and circumstances was produced for PACTS by Road Safety Analysis. It was funded by the Safer Roads Foundation and the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
The PACTS report is launched on 8 May 2013, at Best Foot Forward, a conference in Westminster, attended by the Rt Hon Patrick McLoughlin MP, the Secretary of State for Transport, and chaired by Michael Woodford MBE.
The conference marks the second anniversary of the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety, and supports UN Global Road Safety Week, which this year focuses on pedestrians.
