The Chancellor’s 2016 Budget announced a number of transport safety related policies. These included an insurance premium tax rise, the announcement of a second road investment strategy and the announcement of driverless car trials in the UK. PACTS supplied a briefing to all Members of Parliament on the importance of the announced changes. The PACTS Budget 2016 Briefing can be downloaded here.
PACTS has produced a response to the DCLG Discussion paper on The Right to Challenge Parking Policies (August 2014) which arose from the Government’s consultation on Local Authority Parking in late 2013-early 2014 and the Government’s response to that consultation in Summer 2014. The PACTS response is available here.
