Key Priorities for Road Safety to 2020

The new UK Parliament road safety minister Andrew Jones MP told the May meeting of the Motorists Forum that the Department for Transport would be drawing up a new road safety strategy and action plan. Not wasting any time, seven road safety groups including PACTS have written to the minister with joint recommendation.  The Key Priorities for Road Safety to 2020 can be downloaded here.

Road Safety Powers and Devolution

This briefing paper sets out the road safety powers which are devolved.  It was compiled for PACTS in March 2014 by the  Department  for  Transport,  with  assistance  from  Transport  for  London,  Department  of  the Environment  Northern  Ireland,  Transport  Scotland,  the  Welsh  Government  and  Road  Safety  GB.
