On the 23rd June, the UK will hold a referendum on the place of the United Kingdom in the European Union. PACTS has created a briefing on UK Road Safety and the role that the European Union plays in road safety. The briefing can be downloaded here.
The Chancellor’s 2016 Budget announced a number of transport safety related policies. These included an insurance premium tax rise, the announcement of a second road investment strategy and the announcement of driverless car trials in the UK.
