Dr George Beard is Head of New Mobility at TRL, the UK’s Transport Research Laboratory. George is a Chartered Psychologist with over a decade of experience designing, conducting and leading social and behavioural research into the perceptions and behaviours of transport users. George leads TRL’s work in New Mobility, applying his expertise as a behavioural scientist to explore how new technologies, modes and services can help us to achieve TRL’s vision of clean and efficient transport, that is safe, reliable and accessible to everyone.
