M. (Marco) Reijne is a policy advisor at the traffic safety department within the (Dutch) Ministry of Infrastructure and Water management. He works on topics such as cycling safety and the technical requirements for Light Electric Vehicles.
Marco received an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology in 2017. In 2018 he started a PhD at Delft University of Technology on the topic of fall prevention for cyclists. Since 2022 he is working as a policy advisor at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.
