PACTS has responded to the Consultation on local authority parking, by DCLG and DfT.
PACTS Executive Director, David Davies, said “The consultation is arbitrary, confused and lacking in evidence to support the changes proposed. The changes would make it more difficult for local authorities to enforce parking regulations, including double yellow lines, which are often installed for safety reasons, such as outside schools. We hope that the Government will think very carefully before implementing any of these proposals.”
