Teresa Ciano, Partnership Manager of the Wales Road Casualty Reduction Partnership, GoSafe, has been appointed as a director and trustee on the PACTS Board.
Teresa Ciano said, “I am honoured and pleased to be joining the PACTS Board. Since I started working in Road Safety in 2005, I’ve followed their work closely in promoting transport safety for public benefit and their skill in offering research based solutions. I will be focused on contributing whatever I can to assist in their invaluable work.”
PACTS Chair, Barry Sheerman MP, said “I am very pleased that Teresa has agreed to join the board of PACTS. As a result of her work on GoSafe and Operation SNAP, Teresa has a acquired a tremendous reputation for championing and delivering road safety in Wales and more widely. She brings new skills and perspectives to PACTS and emphasises that we are concerned with transport safety throughout the UK. Her knowledge of roads policing is particularly vital at a time when police resources are very stretched and new ways of keeping our roads safe must be found.”
