Transport is relevant to everyone, but transport is not equally safe for everyone. It is no longer good enough to improve things for the majority. Policies and services are expected to demonstrate consideration of the needs of all users. PACTS wants to spotlight the places where improvements in equality have been achieved as well as bring to light areas where inequality has been identified and is being addressed.
Hear from a wide range of experts on how improvements to equality could be made in transport safety.
Conference themes
- How unequal safety outcomes manifest among different demographics and communities
- Equality in Euro NCAP testing, including the use of inclusive crash-test-dummies.
- Safe pavement access for the partially sighted
- The success of targeting a road safety campaign within a specific population
